FINDLEY OF GEORGIA. Alexander FINDLEY, 1667-1735, born in Scotland and died in IRELAND. His son James 1687 was born in Maryland and died 1753 in Pennsylvania. The FINDLEY family moved southward through Virginia, the Carolina’s, and Georgia. They settled in and around Pickens Co, GA, eventually some descendants moved to South Georgia into Worth and Colquitt Counties.
