He was one of the earlist settlers in New Sweden, DELAWARE. His son Anders CLEMENTSON born 1638 in Varmland, Sweden and died in 1687 in Cecil Co, MD. His descendants moved southward into VA, NC, SC, and GA, eventually into South GA in Telfair, Ben Hill, and Irwin Counties, where the name has been shortened to CLEMENT, CLEMENTS, CLEMONS, etc. Book is well documented with facts to support this lienage.
