MCMILLAN FAMILY. The MCMILLAN’s were Scottish Highlanders who sailed from Greenock, Scotland and landed at Wilmington, NC early in the year 1774. They traveled up the Cape Fear River and settled in Cumberland Co, NC near friends and relatives already living there.  Their descendants spread across NC, SC,  GA, and FL.
