WILSON FAMILY.  Capt James Wilson, a Revolutionary Soldier and ancestor of many  Wiregrass Georgia and South Floridians was born in Scotland bout 1740. He came to NC about 1765 but moved and settled in Effingham Co, GA before 1772.   Later he moved to Lowndes County and his home and plantation was late cut into the formation of Brooks Co, GA.  This book is about his descendant William R.
